为什么叫突变携带者报告呢？
因为，这一类基因突变并不会在你的身上体现出来或者影响你的健康，而是由于你携带这一类突变信息，这种突变可能通过遗传过程，在你的后代中表现出来。
这个生物原理很简单，应该是高中生物的基础知识。下面贴两张23andMe官网上的原理介绍图。
每个人都有23对染色体，每对染色体对应两条DNA链，我们的孩子会从父母那里各获得一条。比如，正常的等位基因位点类型为AA，致病的基因类型为aa，那么Aa这种类型的人不会表现有疾病。但是如果他/她和一个Aa类型的人结婚，他们的孩子有25%的概率会出现aa致病类型。并且有50%的几率成为这种疾病的突变携带者，进而会影响他们的后代。

作为一个突变携带者，你是不会有这种疾病的表现的。因为如果有了你肯定自己就会知道。这些疾病大多数比较罕见，而且病症明显严重，很多会致死。
下面，小编把自己报告中检测的遗传性疾病总结整理并全部翻译成了中文，列出如下，拿走不谢。
一共42种遗传性疾病，23andMe会告诉你，你是否是该种遗传病的携带者。
